ASNR26 Call for Abstracts
Join us May 17-20, 2026, in Austin to present the best scientific research in Neuroradiology. ASNR is seeking abstract submissions on the topics of Adult Brain, Spine, Head and Neck, Pediatrics, Functional/Advanced Imaging, Interventional, Health Policy, and AI/Informatics.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION:
Deadline: Wednesday, November 5, at 11:59 PM EST. The submission period is now closed. Please watch for abstract acceptance notices on or before January 28, 2026, upon conclusion of peer review.
Scientific Oral Abstract: 4-minute oral presentation, summarizing details of original investigative research. Presenters will share audience discussion/Q&A time at the end of each session. In addition to presentation slides, presenters must also upload an electronic poster of their slide summary.

Electronic Poster: Visual presentation summarizing details of original investigative research

Excerpta: Visual presentation summarizing details of a case or case series.

Electronic Educational Exhibit: Visual presentation (PDF or PowerPoint presentation) designed to advance neuroradiology education and training by reviewing a new concept or technique, providing an educational update, or offering instruction on a particular topic. Live presentation time for select exhibits only, will be sent with acceptance notification.

- By submitting an abstract, you agree that the presenting author will register for the meeting at their own expense. Registration type is dependent on the type of abstract you are presenting (in-person or on-demand).
- ASNR requires disclosure from all persons in control of content, including all authors on abstracts. When added to an abstract, all co-authors on your submission will be notified to log-in and complete their own disclosure form. Once all co-authors have submitted disclosure, you will be able to finalize your submission. You will not be able to finalize your submission until all authors have completed their disclosure forms. If any disclosures cannot be submitted by the deadline, remove authors with missing disclosures and submit the abstract. Authors may be added after submission if disclosure is completed. Email education@asnr.org to add authors after the submission deadline.
- Maximum length, 500 words (combined from all text fields). Title, authors, and uploaded image do not count toward word count.
- The submission site allows uploading of a single JPG file with each submission. Only one graphic file may be submitted with each abstract. This single JPG can contain multiple images, graphics, and tables.
- At least one reference is required, and up to five references may be included. References should be formatted according to AJNR author instructions.
- DO NOT SUBMIT DUPLICATE ABSTRACTS IN MULTIPLE CATEGORIES OR SUBMISSION TYPES.
- Changes can be made to submitted abstracts until the deadline.
- ASNR encourages presenters to submit manuscripts based on their work to the American Journal of Neuroradiology or Neurographics before considering other journals.
ASNR is committed to recognizing excellence in Annual Meeting abstract submissions. Abstracts meeting select criteria are eligible for consideration for the David M. Yousem Research Fellow Award, Cornelius Dyke Memorial Award, Outstanding Project Awards, Educational Exhibit Awards and Member-In-Training Travel Awards.
