ASNR Member-Centric Strategic Initiatives 2025-2026

The Member-Centric Strategic Initiative Program allows any member to propose and develop new programs to directly improve the ASNR member experience using the ASNR financial reserves to fund those programs. This program is designed to encourage and support innovative ideas proposed by ASNR members including volunteer committee members.

Following an extensive review process, the following proposals have been selected for implementation in 2025-2026:

  • Root-Cause Analysis Simulation at Annual Meeting Submitted by Nadja Kadom
  • Early Medical Student Engagement via Radiology Interest Groups Submitted by Joshua Nickerson & Nancy Pham
  • Increasing Sponsored Professor Positions in Addition to the Existing ASNR Anne G. Osborn Professorship Program Submitted by Noushin Yahyavi
  • Active ASNR Outreach to Solidify Our Future and Enrich Our Present Submitted by Paul Bunch
  • ASNR International Outreach Reciprocal Scholar Program Submitted by Xin (Cynthia) Wu           
  • ASNR Neuro-PET Education Initiative Submitted by Jana Ivanidze & Ramon F. Barajas, Jr.
  • ASNR Education Committee Initiative: Enhancing Medical Student Learning Submitted by Nancy Pham, Shweta Kumar, Steve Edelman, & Joshua Nickerson
  • Standardized Supplemental Interpretive Neuroangiography Educational Curriculum for Neuroradiology Fellows Submitted by Charlotte Chung
  • Advancing Evidence-Based Practice in Neuroradiology Initiative Submitted by Sherief Ghozy & Ajay Malhotra
  • Gender Differences in Medicare Practice and Payment of Neuroradiologists Submitted by Ajay Malhotra
