Awards Committee

Purpose

The Awards Committee shall be responsible for selecting and proposing award candidates for consideration by the Advisory Council, in accordance with the Constitution. The Awards Committee shall be responsible for recommending to the Advisory Council, on a yearly basis, recipients of the Gold Medal Award, Honorary Member Award, the Outstanding Contributions in Neuroradiology Education Award, and the FASNR Outstanding Contributions in Research Award.

Makeup

The ASNR Awards Committee is comprised of the following individuals: 

  • First past president 
  • Current ASNR president 
  • Two past presidents
  • Two previous Gold Medal recipients 
  • One at-large Senior member
  • Chair of the FASNR Board of Trustees 
  • Research Committee co-chair

Time Commitment

The awards committee meets once a year in the fall.
