Outstanding Contributions in Research Award
This award recognizes individuals who have consistently demonstrated excellence and achieved lifelong accomplishments in basic or clinical neuroscience research, significant funded research, and research contributions.
ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES: A Senior ASNR member with long-term achievements in clinical or basic research.
EXCLUSIONS: Current ASNR Board of Directors, both Co-Chairs of the Foundation Board of Trustees, members of the Foundation Board of Trustees, members of the Awards Committee, and previous awardees of the award are ineligible for nomination. Nominees must be living at the time of nomination. Posthumous nominations will not be considered.
NOMINATION PROCESS: Only ASNR members may submit nominations.
NOMINATION DEADLINE: The deadline for nominations is Thursday, December 11, 2025; 9:00 am Central Time. Please submit your nomination using the nomination form.
The Outstanding Contributions in Research Award recipient receives the following:
- Complimentary President’s Gala tickets for themselves and 1 guest
- Recognition at the ASNR Annual Meeting and in ASNR communications
- Inscribed plaque
- Complimentary Annual Meeting Registration
