J. Arliss Pollock Award and Memorial Lecture
The Pollock Award recognizes exceptional leadership and commitment to medicine in the area of socioeconomics and health policy at a national level.
The Pollock Award and Memorial lecture is held in honor of J. Arliss Pollock, MD, a pioneering neuroradiologist who led ASNR’s economic and health policy efforts for fifteen years. The Pollock Award and Memorial Lecture is selected annually by physician leaders in Healthcare Policy and asked to present, as a keynote, in a dedicated policy session at the ASNR Annual Meeting.
ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES: Individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to medicine in socioeconomics and health policy at a national level, ideally with a connection to neuroradiology. Candidates are NOT NECESSARILY required to be Senior ASNR Members.
EXCLUSIONS: Current ASNR Board of Directors, Chairs, Co-Chairs and members of the Health Policy Committee, members of the Awards Committee, and previous awardees are not eligible for nomination. The Awards Committee should receive documentation by the deadline for the nominee to be considered.
NOMINATION DEADLINE: The deadline for nominations for the awards has passed. Watch for more information coming soon.
NOMINATION PROCESS: Only ASNR members may submit nominations.
The J. Arliss Pollock Award and Memorial Lecture recipient receives the following:
- Complimentary President’s Gala tickets for themselves and 1 guest
- Keynote health policy session lecture
- J. Arliss Pollock Award Certificate
- Recognition at the ASNR Annual Meeting and in ASNR communications
- Round-trip standard airfare
- Complimentary Annual Meeting registration
- Complimentary hotel room for 2 nights (room & tax only)
