Membership Categories:

Senior

Shall be a radiologist certified by the American Board of Radiology, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC), The American Osteopathic College of Radiology, or other Board or Tribunal which, in the judgment of the Executive Committee, is of equivalent rank.

Shall have completed a one year ACGME- or RCPSC-approved Neuroradiology fellowship program and passage of the ABR Subspecialty Certification exam in Neuroradiology and shall be engaged in the active practice of Neuroradiology in North America, devoting at least 50 percent (exclusive of administrative duties) to the professional practice of Neuroradiology.

Senior International

Shall be a physician who meets the criteria for Senior membership but who resides outside of North America.

Member

Shall be other neuroradiologists, scientists (master's degree, or higher [PhD] radiologists and physicians including non-radiologists/clinicians with an interest in Neuroradiology who do not meet the criteria for Senior membership.

Research Scientist

Shall be any physicist (Ph.D.) or neuroscientist (M.S., Ph.D.) with an interest and/or position relevant to Neuroradiology or Radiology, and who may not fulfill the requirements for Senior membership.

Member-in-Training

Shall be a physician in an ACGME- or RCPSC-accredited (Canadian) Radiology residency program, Neuroradiology fellowship program, or medical student or graduate (PhD) student, or post-doctoral fellow within five years of doctoral degree.
