PRESENTER FAQs

Do I need to register for the event?

Yes, all designated presenters (focus sessions, electronic posters, electronic educational exhibits) are required to register for the event.

Speakers may request a code for a $50 discount on the registration fee by emailing education@asnr.org. Register for the conference at www.asnr.org/annualmeeting.

How will I present during the virtual event?

Focus Sessions: To present during the virtual meeting, you will pre-record your presentation using any screen-capture software. You will then upload it to ASNR, and it will be combined with other presentations from your session. Live Q&A will follow recorded presentations in each session. The virtual event operates on Zoom software, housed within our virtual meeting platform. We will provide training to all speakers and moderators.

Electronic Posters: Your main ePoster file should be a single- or multiple-page PDF or PowerPoint presentation. Additional supporting files may also be uploaded (videos, PDFs, articles, etc.). You may upload multiple files, and files can be in any format, including video formats but are limited to 25 MB each.

Electronic Educational Exhibits: Your main Educational Exhibit file should be a multiple-page PDF or PowerPoint presentation. Additional supporting files may also be uploaded for meeting attendees to view (videos, PDFs, articles, etc.), but these additional files will not be considered for awards judging. Only the main presentation file will be considered for awards judging. You may upload multiple files, and files can be in any format, including video formats but are limited to 25 MB each.

How will I learn how to use the virtual meeting platform or website?

View the recorded speaker training from April 12 at https://www.bigmarker.com/bravuratech2/ASNR-Speaker-and-Moderator-Training. Email education@asnr.org with specific questions.

When do I need to be logged in to the event?

Focus Sessions: You should attend the live session as scheduled. Your prerecorded presentation will be played by staff, which will be followed by a live Q&A with all faculty and moderators. Please join the virtual meeting at least 30 minutes prior to your session to ensure your connection is successful.

Electronic Posters and Electronic Educational Exhibits: You may choose your days to be at the event. Since the poster is electronic and available on-demand to all attendees, you do not need to participate during specific times. Check your poster page regularly for new comments and questions from attendees.
