Message from the Program Chair

It is my pleasure to invite you to the ASNR 58th Annual Meeting – Now Virtual!

The ASNR 2020 virtual experience will kick off with symposium sessions that feature a deep dive into the many elements of stroke that impact neuroradiologists both now and in the future.

Beyond outstanding presentations on clinical and research-based neuroradiology, the Annual Meeting will focus on how to keep up with the constant changes of healthcare reform, maintaining quality, considering cost, and teaching best practices. Discussions will incorporate many innovative approaches to how neuroimaging currently does and will continue to improve overall healthcare performance. Informative updates will be provided on general neuroradiology and showcase specialty programming from the ASFNR, ASHNR, ASPNR, ASSR, and SNIS.  The heart of the meeting will be invited lectures, original presentations, scientific posters, parallel paper sessions, and educational exhibits.

#ASNR20 will feature unique talks on COVID-19.

There will be more than 90 hours of CME and SA-CME credit available, including at least 15 self-assessment module (SAM) sessions.  We will again feature multiple Clinical Update Sessions, sponsored by our commercial partners, updating you on the capabilities and use of their hardware and software.

Building on prior success, #ASNR20 will allow attendees to immerse themselves in innovative brain, spine, and head & neck imaging while connecting fellow physicians, exhibitors, keynote speakers, and most importantly, colleagues and friends!

ASNR Leadership: #ASNR20 Annual Meeting Decision

March 27, 2020

Dear ASNR Members, Friends, and Colleagues,

ASNR has been closely monitoring the evolving situation with the COVID-19 pandemic. After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the physical event for the ASNR 58th Annual Meeting in Las Vegas.

Full refunds will be issued to those currently registered to attend the physical meeting in Las Vegas.

Further information for speakers, faculty, exhibitors, sponsors, and others scheduled to participate in the meeting will be sent separately. Additionally, the FAQ section, by design, contains information that will serve to answer commonly asked questions.

Since 1962, ASNR has been known for its outstanding educational content and annual meetings. It is with excitement and resolve that we announce that we are reimagining #ASNR20 as a virtual meeting that will deliver a full program of inspiring sessions and excellent educational content.

Times may be uncertain, but one thing is constant: ASNR is still Betting on Breakthroughs. Amazing things happen whenever the ASNR community comes together! We are excited to bring attendees together for #ASNR20 and look forward to sharing more details about how you can participate in the coming weeks.

If you have any questions for our team, please feel free to email us at
