Medical Student Outreach — Student and Resident Hosts Wanted; ASNR Members Needed to Present!
The ASNR Education and Diversity & Inclusion committees are working together on a new initiative to connect with medical students and residents interested in radiology and neuroradiology. Over the next 12-18 months, ASNR will host a series of outreach events intended to convey what great career choices radiology and neuroradiology can be. These events will include a presentation and Q/A with a neuroradiologist and, most critically, dinner!
Please click on each form below for complete details and to apply if you are:
- A medical student interested in bringing this program to your school OR if you are responsible for medical student education in your department
- A resident who is interested in neuroradiology and would like to assist as on-site ASNR radiology resident host
Application deadline: August 15!
ASNR Member Presenters
ASNR members, want to let medical students interested in radiology and radiology residents interested in neuroradiology know why you love your job? We are looking for mid-career neuroradiologists to present at in-person evening outreach sessions in collaboration with radiology interest groups.
ASNR has set aside funding to provide travel costs and a catered dinner for these events and will work with presenters to create the necessary content. This program is a great opportunity to give an invited presentation for the ASNR, to connect with interested students, and to help address the radiologist and neuroradiologist shortage facing our health care system. If you are interested, please see the details and fill out the application in the link below. Applications are due August 15.
