Acceptance Notification
Abstract disposition notification will be sent via email in late February 2008 to the person listed as the primary author of submitted abstracts following the peer review. If notification is not received by Monday, March 3, 2008, contract Valerie Geisendorfer, vgeisendorfer@asnr.org.

Abstract Corrections
Corrections and changes to submitted abstracts can only be made by ASNR staff. Requests for corrections or changes to a submitted abstract or requests to withdraw an abstract must be submitted in writing to ASNR by Tuesday, January 22, 2008. Submit requests to: Valerie Geisendorfer, CMP, Assistant Manager of Scientific Meetings, via letter, fax to 630-574-1740 or email to vgeisendorfer@asnr.org.

Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) Compliance
By ASNR policy, the content of all educational presentations given at ASNR meetings must be in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services regulations implementing this act. To comply with HIPAA regulations, patient confidentiality must be maintained in all educational presentations (oral, printed or electronic). Members of the ASNR Audio Visual, Scientific Exhibits and Program Committees will monitor session and exhibit hall presentations to identify ways to improve overall presentation quality and HIPAA compliance throughout the programming. ASNR Cornelius G. Dyke Memorial Award
This award was established to honor Cornelius G. Dyke, one of the pioneers in Neuroradiology, and is given to an assistant professor, fellow or resident for excellence as demonstrated in a paper, which represents original, unpublished research in some aspect of Neuroradiology.
In addition to a new paper submitted for the Annual Meeting, the Cornelius G. Dyke Memorial Award is open to manuscripts submitted to the AJNR and/or published since January 1, 2007. The AJNR manuscripts must be accompanied by an abstract, and are subject to the submission requirements. Manuscripts to be considered for the award must be received by 5:00 pm Pacific Standard Time (PST), Monday, December 17, 2007.

ASNR Annual Meeting Outstanding Presentation Awards
All abstracts accepted for oral presentation or poster exhibit are considered for these awards. One award is given in each of the following categories:
- Adult Brain Neuroradiology
- Functional Imaging
- Head and Neck Radiology
- Interventional Neuroradiology (Michael F. Brothers Memorial Award)
- Pediatric Neuroradiology (Derek C. Harwood-Nash Award)
- Spine Radiology
- General Neuroradiology (Sponsored by Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals, Inc.)
Each award includes:
- A $1,000 honorarium.
- Announcement at the ASNR 47th Annual Meeting in Vancouver, BC, Canada in 2009.
- Listing in the American Journal of Neuroradiology (AJNR), posting on the ASNR website and mention in membership mailings.
