Call for Abstracts
Hard copies of the "Call for Abstracts" will be included with the
September issue of the American Journal of Neuroradiology
(AJNR) and mailed to all ASNR members and recent Annual Meeting
attendees in late September.
Abstract Submission Site
All abstracts must be submitted electronically using the ASNR Online
Abstract Submission Site. Deadline for Abstracts
submission is 5:00pm PST Friday, December 12, 2003.
Those who have submitted abstracts for any meeting beginning with the
ASNR 39th Annual Meeting in Boston have an account already and should
use their existing login and password. (Use the link below "Login" to
request a forgotten login and/or password). New users may create an
account by clicking on the link in the upper left corner of the
"Login" page.
Online Abstract
Submission Instructions
Abstracts should be submitted according to the specifications in the
ASNR Online Abstract Submission Instructions. Submitters are
encouraged to print out the submission instructions and use them as a
reference during the submission process.
Abstract Disposition Notification
Notice of acceptance for presentation at the meeting will be sent via
email following peer review. If notification is not received by March
5, 2004, contact Barb Schell, Manager of Scientific Meetings, at bschell@asnr.org.
Withdrawing an abstract:
To withdraw an abstract, a written request (email, fax or letter)
must be sent by the submitting author to:

Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996
(HIPAA) Compliance
By ASNR policy, the content of all educational presentations given at
ASNR meetings must be in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services regulations implementing this act. To comply with HIPAA regulations, patient confidentiality must be maintained in all educational presentations (oral, printed or electronic). Every abstract presented at the ASNR Annual Meeting is viewed by members of the ASNR Audio Visual Committee or Scientific Exhibits Committee to identify ways to improve oral and visual presentations and to monitor HIPAA compliance.
